Important Information Service Update
Dear customer,
We experienced an electrical fault in a key control panel at our national hub last night, which has resulted in us losing power to two of our four sorting machines. Our contingency arrangements were immediately put into place which has allowed us to process more than 90% of all parcels and these will be delivered as normal today.
However, we weren’t able to sort all parcels so there will be a number of parcels that will be delayed. All parcels not delivered today are being processed during the day and will be out for delivery tomorrow. These parcels can be identified as having the last scan as “received and processed at our national hub”.
We are endeavouring to resolve this issue as quickly as we can and we do expect normal operations to be resumed tonight. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by this matter and we will of course keep you informed of the situation as it progresses.
Yours sincerely

Important Information Service Update
Dear customer,
A break in the weather conditions over the weekend has allowed us to make a significant number of additional deliveries over the weekend. Unfortunately we have seen a return of the blizzard conditions in Scotland which is forecast to spread to Northern Ireland today. Furthermore, compacted snow and ice on roads is impacting on our ability to deliver and collect in parts of the North East and South East England. The details of the worst affected areas are attached and any updates on the ongoing situation will be available each day on the Service Update page at www.parcelforce.com.
Our drivers are out delivering in all areas today but there are some areas where we will not be able to accept any adhoc collections today or tomorrow.
The safety of our customers, the general public and our employees remains of paramount importance. We would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding during these continued difficult conditions and again apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Yours sincerely

Important Service Update
Updated List of Affected Areas
Dear customer,
There have been no significant improvements to the severe weather conditions that are affecting many areas of the UK. The details of the worst affected areas are attached and any updates on the ongoing situation will be available each day on the
Service Update page at www.parcelforce.com.
Our drivers are out delivering in the areas where it is safe and possible to do so and we are obviously making every effort to keep any disruption to an absolute minimum. However, there are some limited areas today where it will not be possible to undertake any deliveries at all. Although Gatwick airport has re-opened there will be some delays to export traffic to non-EU destinations.
The safety of our customers, the general public and our employees remains of paramount importance. We would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding during these continued difficult conditions and again apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Yours sincerely
