Made in EBC's own factory in Bristol, England, the EBC Kevlar series has now been renamed NAO series or Non Asbestos Organic, although we still use the famous Dupont Kevlar® fibre in conjunction with other high tech fibres that have come on the market. The NAO series are a superb all round value for money replacement for all levels of motorcycle and are still extremely popular with many riders who prefer the “feel” of organic pads. NAO series are fully TUV tested and KBA certified and conform to the new ECE R90 brake regulations, which are about to storm the European market. EBC is at the forefront of this technology and will be the first on the market to offer Reg. 90 approved pads and packaging.

The EBC Pro-lite series has become an aftermarket standard worldwide because of its very close similarity to the original disc but offering a higher friction (18% extra) braking power over stainless steel and being a safe, riveted, sturdy construction as opposed to the risky circlip system used by some of our competitors. If the OEM manufacturers thought circlips were a good idea, they would have put them on the original bikes. It is a false economy in buying replacement rotor ring kits with the risky circlip system.

Larger diameter homes, extra sets of holes and the OD cooling groove, bring down the weights once again on this popular range of supersport/race rotors. These rotors are NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE. Due to the carefully controlled environment of road racing, EBC actually use a circlip retention system (with a difference) on Pro-lite front discs.


The EBC circlip is a specially manufactured unit, which offers a 340-degree contact surface, as opposed to the minimal contact used by cheaper “gearbox” circlips, used by EBC’s competitors.

320mm oversize Supermoto disc constructed with forged alloy centre hub for weight reduction and tough billet steel 4mm thickness brake rotor for maximum stopping power. The rotor rings include OD cooling groove and extra weight reducing scraper holes and are riveted together with a nine-button sturdy rivet system.
The rotors COME COMPLETE WITH ANODISED ALLOY RELOCATION BRACKETS for the various models listed and are supplied as a kit with the complete rotor unit and anodised bracket. The brake hose will need to be replaced with a longer version.

Moto-x is an area where fashion is almost mandatory and for this reason EBC have upgraded the look and reduced the weight of their motocross sport replacement discs for 2002. These discs are STANDARD SIZE OE diameter units and available for all recent model moto-x machines.

Almost identical to original equipment clutch plates the CK series are a cork based product impregnated with aluminum particles to increase wear life and heat resistance. Material is highly compressed to avoid swell and clutch drag and is an ideal general purpose replacement material for all grades and sizes of motorcycle. Kit includes a complete “engine set” of friction plates only.



Dirtracer Clutch Sets

EBC DIRT RACER clutch sets are a complete set of CK series heavy duty cork based lined plates plus heavy duty clutch springs and steel separator plates. Many off road machines are fitted from new with alloy separator plates which wear out quickly and cause clutch to slip. The steel units in the EBC DRC kit prevent this and re-establish original clutch stack height.
 



EBC "Extra Plate" Clutch Kits with Kevlar Linings, Steel Plates and Springs

A complete kit with Kevlar lined friction plates, steel separator plates and heavy duty clutch springs. The EP kit is a heavy duty high temperature resistant clutch, suitable for sport/race use in Moto-X and ATV applications. For 1998 some models have been upgraded to have lined plates using a steel carrier body which should be located closest to the inboard or engine side of the clutch and compensate for overload fractures which happen when the clutch basket wears or “spreads”. Denoted by ‘S’ suffix after part number.



Street Racer Kevlar Clutch Kits

EBC Street Racer Kevlar Clutch Kits with Springs

A Kevlar paper lined plate set complete with heavy duty clutch springs, the SRC kit is ideal for heavy sport bikes, faster riders and production based race use. Advantages of the SRC Kevlar series are longer life, higher heat resistance, although this clutch has a more aggressive/faster take up than the CK cork series.

NOTE:  Not all kits have springs included. Some bikes use a “Diaphragm” spring system which EBC Brakes do not sell or make. If the springs are available as a part number by themselves they will be included in the sports kit.
